This handmade porcelain pebble pendant has been hand formed and a heart shape cut into the clay which has been given texture.
It has been glazed in a glossy light brown to contrast with the red of the heart and to give it a natural polished pebble finish and fired at a high temperature in the kiln. Porcelain is harder and stronger than other types of ceramic.
It has been strung on to a black waxed cotton cord with a bronze lobster claw clasp.
It feels wonderfully and reassuringly smooth to the touch.
